DREAM Scholarship

In 2017, Santa Monica College Foundation established a scholarship fund to provide immediate assistance to SMC's students who are Dreamers and faced with an unforeseen, advanced financial burden to re-apply for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or other emergency situations. And those funds were disbursed quickly! On October 18th SMC hosted another DACA Renewal event, and we still need your help. The DACA re-application fee of $505 continues to place unreasonable financial burden on our students.

The SMC Foundation and the entire SMC community continues its commitment to all students, including our Dreamers. Please consider a gift to this timely and most important initiative. 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit SMC Dreamer Students who are legally in the United States under DACA. The scholarship program will be administered by the DREAM program.

The need continues to grow and your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.  With your help, we have no doubt that we will reach our $20,000 goal!
